The REV2023 Doctoral Consortium (DC) is an interdisciplinary workshop that provides an opportunity for doctoral students to present their research projects and get valuable feedback from a panel of distinguished researchers. We invite doctoral students (especially those in the first years of their research) in Remote Engineering, Virtual Instrumentation, Learning Technologies, and related areas to apply for this unique opportunity to share their ideas and current work with senior researchers in the field and other students as well.
The REV2023 DC will be organized as a special session, dedicated to DC Students as part of the program of the main REV2023 conference. During the Doctoral Consortium Special Session, each participant (i.e., PhD student) will have the opportunity to present ongoing research to the audience of the main conference by means of an oral presentation. In this way, PhD students can interact, share ideas, and receive constructive feedback from fellow students, established researchers, and the members of the DC program committee on topics of research, career and trends in ICT in Education.
The topics of the REV2023 Doctoral Consortium fit to the area of Remote Engineering, Virtual Instrumentation, and Learning Technologies. Examples are the following:
Proposals for participation in the Special Session can be submitted as a full paper Research Summary (10–12 pages). They should address the following aspects (possibly organized in separate sections):
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers. All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings published through Springer, provided the author pays a “Student Authors” registration fee.
More info for the paper preparation and the templates is available at: http://www.rev-conference.org/current/paper_preparation.php. For further questions, please contact the track chair: Dominik May (dominik.may@uga.edu).
